Hey, this is chip with TNVC and we'er going to talk about one of the more frequently asked questions with PVS-14 and that is how to have a magnified night vision view on a weapon mount system.

There's really two ways that that people talk about doing and one's a little bit more effective than the other.

We dont't completely recommend erither of them to be honest with you.

Because It's your kind of asking the system to do something that wasn't really meant to do.

So, let's talk about the first one that is not as effective.

As you know most red dot sights have most red dot sights manufacturers have three power magnifiers that can be quick detach on and off.

Now you're aligning a lot of glasses here and technically yes this is going to work.

you're going to see a lot of light loss though because every time light travels though a lens whether it's a house window whether it's the glasses on your face or whether.

it's an going to be diminished somewhat and that light degradation is going to happen all the way from up here through the second optic before it even hits the PVS-14 objective lens which is the light-gathering lens.

So you're already behind the power curve before you even start using your night vision you'er suffering from a lot of light loss.

And the second reason why we're not really big on this system is for obvious reasons that's a lot of freaking glasses up there.

It's a little obnoxious even you might say and then when you go to take the PVS-14 off now you still have your optics moved way up here.

It's just... It's not conducive to using the weapon during the day and then going to tonight. this is dedicated night vision weapon platform in and of itself.

The second way the guys want to do this is by using the U.S.GI three power magnifier threaded into the PVS-14 and then put behind your red dot optics.

As you can see here the red dot optic is moved all the way up on the hand guards

This setup is a little bit more conducive.

Because you've got your light gathering lens of your three power magnifier that's already attached to the objective lens of the goggle.

So you're not going to suffer technically as much light loss as you might on this other system.
그래서 기술적으론 경통형 3배율경을 사용하는 다른 방식보단 덜한 빛 손실로 고통받지 않을 겁니다.
but you can still see this is a very big optic that you're putting behind your red dot and that's a big key right there is that PVS-14 are not collimated optics, so they cannot go in front of a red dot sight, when mounted on a weapon they always have to go behind.
하지만 여기보시듯이 도트사이트 뒤편에 여전히 큰 광학장치를 달아야 하고, PVS-14는 빛을 평행하게 내보내는 광학장비가 아니라서 도트사이트 앞으로 갈 수 없고, PVS-14를 무기에 장착했을 때 항상 도트사이트 뒤에 달아야하는게 중요한 이유입니다.
It doesn't matter whether they're perfectly aligned parallel or anything like that as long as you get the optic behind the red dot sight.
광학장비들이 완벽히 수평을 맞춰서 일직선으로 놓였거나 이와 유사하게 길게 놓았건간에 야투경은 도트사이트 뒤에 놓아야 합니다.
You can technically see through it and be all right and get your hits but this system itself it's huge.
기술적으로는 이렇게 해도 잘 볼 수 있고, 표적을 맟출수도 있을겁니다만 미군용 3배 배율경을 PVS-14 나사산에 결합한 것 자체로 거대합니다.
so what's more during day now you have a setup like this your weapon has your optic way up here on the hand guards and if you don't have railed hand guards which there's a lot of guys that don't this is not going to work out for you.
낮동안에 광학조준경이 총열손잡이 위에 위치하게 세팅된 무기를 써야하고, 만일 많은 사람들이 가지지 않은 레일총열손잡이가 없다면 쓸 수 없습니다.
so in this kind of setup where you want some sort of a magnified night vision image and still be able to target on the gun we really recommend that you take a look at a dedicated night vision scope or a clip on sight to go in front of a magnified day scope.
3배 배율경을 사용하는 설정을 바란다면, 확대된 야간암시영상과 표적을 맞추는 총을 바란다면, 전용 야간암시조준경이나 배율이 있는 주간조준경 앞에 다는 클립 온 아간암시장비를 권장합니다.
